"By all the Winds of Eliatha!" - Xaktsaroth

(Xak examines the crippled body of a young human boy)

"He barely tests into training, Xak." - Kahlroo
"His eyes betray the dullness of his soul. He will be a poor ranger." - Facingwest

(the young child looks forelornly at Xaktsaroth.)

"Be damned you both. I will take him as my charge and instruct him in the laws and blessings of nature." - Xak

(the poor crippled child looks up at Xak with tearful eyes.)

"There are many secrets under the stars little prince. We will go on a long and difficult journey. At the end of this journey, if we both survive, you will show them the strength in your arms, the speed in your legs, and the wisdom of ages. First on our journey, we must pay an old insane dragon a visit." - Xaktsaroth

"A dragon! Master I can not stand before a dragon! I will die!" - child

"There are worse things than death, my boy. Believe you me." - Xak

"Now, to the dragon, and to your glory!" - Xak

Quests
Enquar Stat Quest- To complete this quest, you must collect at least eight wasp wings and find your way to the Black Pool through the maze. Once you find the pool, drink from it and one stat of your choice will be granted to you. Every two times you get eight or more wings and solve the Enquar maze, after getting the stat bonus, you'll recieve an extra life. For more information and/or directions to Enquar, click here.

Hylar Trainer- This is the easiest of the three quests to do, but the most costly. To receive a bonus to any one stat of your choice, have three million xp (Not total xp) and 300 platinum coins on you when you go to the trainer. For more information and/or directions to the Hylar Trainer, click here.

Mystic Keep Stat Quest- The third Quest is much harder, and very dangerous. Usually players either wait until they're a higher level or have someone assist them. You must befriend the spirits of the former King and Queen of Mystic Keep, hidden deep in the Treemalking Forest. You will want to take a shovel with you and be prepared to open tombs and dig up graves. Once you have a token of their friendship, you may enter the northwest tower and defeat the Dragons that reside within. The Golden Dragon is very vicious and should be approached with extreme caution. Once you have defeated the Dragons and won your way into the shrine, you merely have to ask Bahamut and he will help you. For more information and/or directions for this quest, click here.

NOTE: The bonus' granted by doing any of these 3 quests are permanent, so choose wisely which stat you would like raised.

Rings
Ring of Power- This ring saves at around level 50 and is a quest item. The effects are different for each Guild, depending on what your primary stat is. It gives a +2 to your primary and a +1 to strength for about 10 minutes. For the next 10 minutes, your primary stat will be +1 and strength will be +0. Unfortunately, the increase is not permanent, but the ring can be used over and over again. Your stats have to be normal for the ring to work. For more information and/or directions for this quest, click here.

Ring of Speed- This ring is a quest item that saves around level 160 and gives you a temporary +2 to your dexterity. Like the Ring of Power, your stats have to be normal for this ring to work. For more information and/or directions for this quest, click here.

Opal Ring- The Opal Ring is not a quest item, but requires that you venture to The Crag of Evil in the southern part of Ravens Isle to acquire it. The skill of climbing is needed and a high dexterity will help as well to traverse safely up the mountain. Revoanna, located eastish of the Hell Hounds, is on the third level of the Crag. Be cautious because Revonna could temperarily lower your stats attempting to get the ring. Only the person that kills Revoanna will get the +1 dexterity bonus to the ring.

NOTE: If you're using the Ring of Power and Ring of Speed together, rub the Ring of Power first then the Ring of Speed.

Miscellaneous Armours
Demonic Cloak- Dragosani is located on the first level of the Crag on Ravens Isle. In order to get the +1 to dexterity from the cloak, you must be either Neutral or Evil to wear it. If you aren't it will self destruct causing harm to the wearer if s/he is good aligned. If you take too long killing Dragosani he may lower your stats. Like Revonna, Dragosani could temperarily lower your stats if you don't make the kill quick.

Sapphire Bracers- The Lich is located near the Hell Hounds in an underwater cavern, east and south of the entrance and is dangerous because he can cast prismatic spray. A Ranger really has no use for the Bracers because they give a +1 to Intelligence. For more information and/or directions to acquire the Sapphire Bracers, click here.

Necklace of Horns- The Horned Devils are Pyromancers and can cast Clones, plus do fire attacks. They also have a lot of HPs and take some effort to kill. They are located far to the east and to the south, from the entrance in a sandy cavern. Like the Bracers, the Necklace of Horns gives a +1 to Intelligence.

Storm Dragoness Armour- Yraennyn the Storm Dragoness is the Hardest NPC to kill in the Realms. Usually, a group of people will travel to kill her. For more information and/or directions for this quest, click here.

NOTE: You must be the person that kills each of the above NPC's to get the stat bonus that comes with the armours.

Badge of Might- For more information and/or directions for this quest, click here.

Miscellaneous Modifiers
Stat Potions- These potions can be purchased from just about any player in the Alchemist Guild. After you drink them, they will last until you either die or log off, and can be stacked to give you a maxxed stat of 21. There are 5 stat potions in all.
  • Yellow = Strength
  • Pink = Constitution
  • Magenta = Wisdom
  • Orange = Intelligence
  • Violet = Dexterity

Dark Cider- This is a Dwarf only item and is made by a Brewer. It will give you a temporary +1 to constitution if aged long enough.

Nagorath, the dragon that has the Silver Dragon scale for Nature's Armour, also carries an ebony potion. (For Directions to Nagorath, click here.)

However, if you have something like an Opal Ring, you can have a maximum Dexterity of 21. Like the Strength spell, the Dexterity spell has a duration that's flexible, depending on the Ranger that casts it on you.

Gypsy Cards- This isn't recommended to do because of the risks involved, so we'll just mention that it's available if you're ever feeling risky.
